Paranoia and the Prise were positioned as the guardians of the keywork and its power sources, Stars I-VII. In their creation, God presented The Prise with the task of intervening should man attempt to take on the role of God. However if it was God's own will to change the face of man, The Prise were instructed to remain impartial or suffer the wrath of God's destruction.
